And then there were 4

We are thrilled to announce that Kai Joseph Snead was born at 1:20 am China time on July 1 (about an hour and a half ago)! He weighed in at a little over 8 pounds and is almost 21 inches from head to toe. Michelle did a great job in labor, and she and Kai (his name rhymes with "pie" and means "joyful" or "happy" in this part of the world) are both doing well. We'll do our best to get some pictures up soon and share more about labor and delivery, but we wanted to go ahead and let everyone know that Kai finally decided he was ready to make his appearance (7 days after the due date). We're so thankful that Matt's parents will have the chance to spend some time with Kai before they head back to the U.S. tomorrow afternoon. Thank you so much to all of you who have been praying for us!
